Background: Mordecai the Hunter has been an amazing sniper throughout his entire life. At the age of 17, he won an Interplanetary Sharpshooting contest using only a pistol, while all other contestants used sniper rifles. Because of this amazing feat, he was accused of cheating and therefore was disqualified. Mordecai's reason for going to Pandora was to find a man named Yujinny. Shortly after, Mordecai learns that this man is dead, and therefore is searching for information on how he died and what he had in his possession during his death.

Mordecai has the ability to summon his pet, Bloodwing, who is an alien bird-like creature with a bounty on its head for $1,000,000. This bounty is written in red on one bounty poster at T-Bone Junction from The Secret Armory of General Knoxx DLC. Mordecai's specialty lies in Sniper Rifles and Pistols. He is also capable of strong Melee attacks.
