Super Healing Kit
In Borderlands the heros get to use two type of first aid items in regular combat. These two types of items are Insta-health kits - which provide instant health to the user when they pick the item up, and Healing Kits - which provide health over time after being used. Both of these first aid solutions can be purchased at a vendor or picked up while in combat.

Most users will find that they will not use a healing kit the entire game because of the small HP that it refills and the inconvenience of bringing up inventory during combat. Insta-health however, is used plenty in combat, when picking up health from dead enemies. Most users tend to rely on regeneration of heatlh and shields as their primary means of survival.
Repair Kits
Repair Kits are the only first aid items that cannot be used on a hero in this game. They are an item specifically meant for healing dying claptrap units in claptrap missions. Each repair kit is unique and only works for the claptrap found in that area. You must speak to the claptrap in that area to use the item. The claptrap is always found on the same map as the repair kit, and vice versa. All repair kits are manufactured by Dahl and are indicated as such on the bottom right corner of each kit.
Give repair kits to claptrap units to receive bonuses such as increased inventory space, and other occasional goodies as well, as the claptrap may unlock previously inaccessible areas that are filled with loot.
Mega Health - Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot
In Moxxi's Underdome, Moxxi drops two types of boxes at the end of each round. These boxes will either give you limited ammo for every gun or additional health. In this section we will briefly discuss the latter.
Mega Health Capsule
The Mega Health pack gives the user a large refill on health that works instantly. The health boxes are less common than the ammo boxes and are harder to get. They cannot be picked up to be used later, and thus cannot be sold.
